Barnsley business partners clinch top award from home care provider

24 February 2016

Barnsley business partners and Caremark franchisees Andrew Peace and Mark McKenning are celebrating their recent win, taking one of home care provider Caremark’s top annual trophies at the company’s annual awards ceremony.

The annual event held at the end of January, brings together franchisees from all parts of the UK and Ireland and this year was hosted at the Ettington Chase Hotel in Warwickshire.

Peace and McKenning who are joint directors of the successful Barnsley home care franchise were thrilled to receive the coveted Caremark Mark of Excellence Award for 2015.

The award marks out a business which has proved to be a real asset to the brand, made real progress with their business and demonstrated support for their peers in the Caremark network.

Caremark (Barnsley) were strong contenders for this award and showed real excellence across the board in respect of growth, quality of service to clients, recruitment and support of care staff.

Commenting on their award, Operations Director McKenning said: ‘’It is always really nice to be recognised for quality service, compliance and innovation, particularly by fellow franchisees and Caremark Limited.  We are very proud of our Team in Barnsley; this recognition is a result of their continuous  hard work and the desire to provide the very best service for those people in our area who choose to remain living at home.’’

Business Director, Peace said: ‘’This is an incredibly challenging industry, so we are delighted to win the award.   It means a lot as it came from our peers who are all worthy in their own right.”

Undeterred by the challenges to the industry which all home care providers are facing, Peace and McKenning continued to build their business through a tough 12 months.  The Barnsley business now has a sound platform for further growth and success and is anticipating another very busy year.
